LiDAR-O on the Holy Mountain - Ślęża. On this kind of training my respect for this Mountain only rises. Scenery was like in Narnia cold and icy. Good session. On bottom of map you can see the embargoed area for O-Games, there will be shortened long and sprint in Świdnica. 17-18.05.2014 soon more info on www.o-games.pl

Interval session. Part usual map, part LiDAR with 1m contours. Heavy legs after last 10 days and icy weather determined not so fast running.

Back home and the final episode of mastering the home forest. This time I run this course only from memory, without map and compass (every time at night). It worked out that the last one was the fastest one and cleanest one.

Last training in Norway. Part was urban sprint, part was forest sprint, which actually was a disaster due to deep snow and tiredness or maybe just tiredness. Anyway it was fantastic week, thank you Tyrving.

The only place with possibly snow condition is on the coast line. So we did training in ankle height snow in small forest near to Oslo fjorden.

Winter is finally here, although I have to go to Norway to meet her. Conditions were tough around 30cm of fresh snow and it was snowing quite bad during race. My route choices weren't that sharp, but as long as sprint is not my favorite discipline any more I take it not that serious.

Another tale in making life/training harder. This time with 0,5 m contours, really shaping imagination. Lots of zig-zaging, my head was little too heavy. Corridor part on 1:5000 map was surprisingly challenging, you have really narrow space there.

First of all this is my new home for maps, thanks to Sławek and biegnaorientacje.pl since now I will use this location, if anyone cares. Today I ran exactly the same course but without compass, both session were ran in darkness. It may seem awful hard, but I know this forest well. Just guess what will be next step.
